A Few Thoughts on Torah

There is timelessness in Torah. Whereas everything in man's world is temporal; and frankly, people are unaccustomed to timelessness. People are enthralled with change, they expect an ebb and flow in all things; and they cannot fathom that which lives unaltered and perfect; hence, they cannot resonate with Torah. Torah is eternity calling to you, it is persistency pursuing you. It is the Word of God that spoke you into existence, and the will of God that is bidding you home to Him again. Torah is truth lighting the path for you to see. It is the past witnessing of God's will in times it cannot be seen. It is the future speaking into the present, reminding you of God's holiness; asking you to yield, to grow, to become something greater than you presently are. Torah doesn't exist, it lives; it hopes, it dreams. Torah sanctifies those who would believe and who would take upon themselves that same nature of God which it reveals. It does so that mankind would also begin to live, to hope, and to dream, and to sanctify the world around us. That is the Torah way. Torah may be commonly translated as 'law' but it means 'instruction', and it is God's instruction to those who would hear His voice... It is the Ruach saying, "Harken unto me..." and, "Do so and live...". Torah is the love of God manifested into the physical world. Torah is the Word of God that became flesh... Torah is that which hung on the cross and died for you. Torah is that which rose again on the third day. Torah is that which now lives in the hearts' of all who believe. It sanctifies us, it grows us, it makes us whole. Torah is that which now lives for us so that we would never die. It is the Yeshua (Salvation) of God. And, I, for one, am honored to crown Torah my King. Forever lives Yeshua ben David; the Word (Torah) made flesh! "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14 Torah doesn't tire. It doesn't grow weary. It doesn't give up. It never quits. Torah never changes, but it bids you to come into the life of God where those it sanctifies can live forever. Torah is grace upon grace and mercy upon mercy, that we would be saved. "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." 1 Colossians 15:10 May it be so with us in this day!
